It is a sad, sad day in America: Steve the Dell Dude has been arrested for possesion of marijuana. (*Gasp!*)


The news came as a shock to the advertising community. Carrot Top and the Geico Gecko were in a tearful embrace while the Green Giant (Fresh off his cameo in ABC's recent Michael Jackson special) could only say "Morris the Cat must be rolling in his grave". Others however, quickly went from shock and grief to all out anger. The Parkay tub and the talking sandwich organized a community wide rally in which the burning of Dells in a bonfire was the main attraction.


His parents, Clara Peller and Matthew Lesko, declined comment. But his agent, Grimmace, maintained his client's innocence and said that he believes that it's all a setup by Steve's longtime rival, the Gateway cow.


Steve is currently awaiting arraignment and is sharing a cell with the Hamburglar and members of the Scrubbing Bubbles gang.
